Tivoli is one of Colorado's oldest beer brands, founded during prohibition and revived in 2014 with a mission to honor its heritage while building toward a new chapter. The creative challenge was giving the brand a visual identity that could carry that weight — feeling authentically rooted in history without getting stuck there.
As part of the Monigle team, I collaborated on the creative strategy and led the art direction and graphic design across the full project. Drawing inspiration from the historic ghost signs scattered across the Rockies, we used that visual language as the foundation for a refreshed identity system. The original diamond wordmark was preserved and revitalized, paired with vibrant colors, rich textures, and vintage-inspired typography that gave the brand a distinct and ownable look.
The work extended across every customer touchpoint: logo and wordmark refresh, packaging, brand guidelines, signage, environmental design, marketing, and taproom merchandise. The rebrand was well received at launch and gave Tivoli the visual foundation to continue growing its story in the Colorado market.
