The Chosen, an independently produced digital series, was looking for new ways to reach a younger audience. They created a documentary, pulling together 8 strangers to binge-watch the 1st season and film their reactions. But they needed a title and branding that was relatable to the audience they were after. The concept I delivered was multifaceted, like the perspectives of each cast member. I brought this concept to life using unique fonts, and common visual cues from texting interfaces, like chat boxes and emojis. The photography art direction was inspired by a prism, and incorporated deep purple and neon lighting to set the tone. In addition to the documentary art direction, I also provided gen z branded apparel that launched with the film.
